Competition of engineering technologists

On the basis of Kurgan State University (Department of Mechanical Engineering Technology, Metal-cutting Machines and Tools), together with the Kurgan Center for Youth Innovative Creativity "High Technologies" and with the support of the Kurgan regional branch of the Union of Machine Builders of Russia, a competition of professional skills of machine-building technologists was held. It was attended by 16 representatives of enterprises and institutions of the Kurgan region. The competition was held in full-time and consisted of theoretical and practical tasks. The winner was the head of the bureau of JSC "Kurganmashzavod". The representative of RTMT LLC, the engineer-technologist of the chief technologist department, Roman A. Karikh, entered the top five. During the summing up, an informative tour of the university was also conducted.
